Day 1

Depart on regularly scheduled airline.

 

Day 2

Arrive in London, England, where you will be met by your tour director. Visit Windsor, with its famous castle and the Queen’s residence, where you will have lunch on your own before transferring to your accommodations in Central London. After an orientation walking sightseeing tour, enjoy an all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta dinner in Piccadilly Circus. This evening, soak up the atmosphere in Leicester Square where some members of the group might enjoy a night at the theater.

 

Day 3

This morning, hop on board a London sightseeing double-decker bus and experience all of London's famous sights, including: Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, and Trafalgar Square. The rest of the day shop for those special souvenirs and gifts along Oxford Street, or at the famous Harrod’s of Knightsbridge.

 

Day 4

Today is free to enjoy London - shopping or sightseeing, the choice is yours. You might want to experience the London Eye, with the best panoramic views of the City of London, spend part of the day at Madame Tussaud’s famous wax museum.

 

Day 5

Transfer to your accommodations in the English Midlands. On the way, visit the famous university city of Oxford, with its many colleges and famous Bodleian Library. Oxford University is the oldest English speaking university in the world. Arrive at your accommodations this evening.

 

Day 6

Today, you will visit the beautiful city of Warwick, renowned for its fine medieval castle - one of England's most visited stately homes, with a superb art collection of old masters. You will also have an opportunity to visit Stratford-upon-Avon, the attractive riverside town which owes its fame to poet and playwright William Shakespeare, born here in 1564.

 

Day 7

Heading south, you will visit Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain, north of Salisbury, which dates from the late Stone and early Bronze ages. Stonehenge is the best preserved and most celebrated of the megalithic monuments of Europe. It is not known for certain what purpose Stonehenge served, but many scholars believe the monument was used as a ceremonial or religious center.

 

Day 8

Today, experience a full day of sightseeing in the City of Bath, famous for the Roman Baths which gave the city its name to the magnificent Georgian architecture found throughout the city.

 

Day 9

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
